This weekend I am going to start introducing solids into my juice diet.
I’ve lost 15 pounds, which is a great thing because I needed to anyway. Actually, I’ve lost about 18 or 19 pounds per the scale but I consider the fact that I have little to know food weight in me to account for 3 or 4 pounds.
I will probably still lose more weight after introducing solids but come on, I’ve lost 15 pounds in 12 days — more than a pound a day. I haven’t been counting calories but on a few days when I was extraordinarily busy I know I only took in 500 or 600 calories. I’m not really a small guy, either. I’d burn that off watching a day-long Scrubs marathon.
I might feel fine but I don’t think that’s healthy which brings me to…
Adding Soup and Salad
By “solids”, I mean vegetable soups and raw salads with no dressing for one meal a day and probably some whole fruits. The soups and salads will be natural. I might use a bouillon cube and some pepper for soup. Salads will be raw with maybe a little oil, lemon, or pepper.
