November’s 30 Day Experiment. Meditate 10 minutes daily.
I’m looking forward to this one.
I’m probably not supposed to admit that I’ve been pretty inconsistent with meditation lately. I recommend it professionally in my workshops, online courses, and coaching.
I’m also human.
Meditation is fantastic. Few activities have made a bigger impact on my ability to stay focused, organize my thoughts/projects/priorities, reduce stress, and so on (all the stuff).
But, like with exercising, I get into ruts where I forget to do it — ironically, I usually forget or put it off because I’m stressed or having trouble focusing.
30 Day Experiment
So, this month’s 30 Day Experiment is that I will meditate for 10 minutes daily. It’s a bit more than usual because my usual meditation sessions are only 5 minutes, which is still a game changer.
(I think most people don’t realize that you don’t need to meditate for an hour to benefit significantly from it; 5 minutes works wonders for me).
The Rules
- 10 minutes of meditation daily
- In silence or with an app (I like Calm), my choice
- 10% pass
- I can journal if I’m really struggling to stay focused (it happens to the best of us)
Here we go!
